Italian Job Screening Wrap-up

The crowd was giddy, the theatre was vintage, and the film was as good as everyone remembered (for those that had seen it of course). You can't find a better way to celebrate the re-release of the original Italian Job than seeing it on the big screen! Thanks for coming out!

Congrats Matt on wining the Italian Job Collection DVDs!

Wow, what a great movie that was. I woke up this morning singing “We are the soul preservation society!”
Good times!

What a neat movie (I hadn't seen it before), and a great theater..Thanks everyone for putting this event together.

I wish I could have hung around a bit more afterwards, but we had to get home and get the kids to bed.

It made my day seeing the two original Minis parked out in front of the theater.

Did you ever wonder where the Austin Powers character came from? Now you know, what a great movie. I owuld also like to thank the Chili MCS from Indiana and the Dark Blue MCS that helped me to have a little fun on the drive down Naperville Rd from the theater. If only we could've found a church to drive through!!!

Actually Brian you have to check out In Like Flint to see where just about everything from Austim Powers comes from. Down to the telephone ringer!

Glad you guys enjoyed it - it is my all time favorite movie - seen it close to 100 times :)

one note though Carl - it is “self-preservation society” not “soul preservation society” :)

I had seen bits and pieces of the movie before. (because I'm old)I enjoyed it on the big screen for the first time and it was nice to see MINI folks!

A whole lot of fun it was, and thanks for the poster! Perhaps we can do the same thing with the Mini-equipped “Mr. Bean” episodes in the future?

I'm overly obsessed with Mini's, so this movie was top on my list of movies to see. Most people didn't even know taht there was an original. I knew before the 03 one even came out. Okay, okay, I'm just a tad young, but I love the Mini Cooper and study them constantly.
