Crystal Lake Cruise Night

Here is some info that was passed along to the Club. No additional details at this point, but hopefully we will have more info as it gets closer:

On Thursday May 19,2005 Downtown Crystal Lake / Main Street is having a very special cruise night. We are have American English, a Beatles style band playing from the roof top of the Raue Center. This cruise is going to be limited to English made cars only. Car owners and clubs are asked to call to reserve a parking space.
We would love to have the Chicago Mini Club attend
this special event.

Looks like a pretty cool evening. Anyone interested in attending, please post here so we see how big a group we get!!

Any idea what time it starts? Looking on the Crystal Lake web site and cannot locate anything. I work and live in Chicago, so my attending depends on what time I need to be there. Thanks! :o)

I will post the time as soon as I find out. Crystal Lake is a bit of a drive on a “school night”, but I will be there as well.

Definitely a “go.” If someone has an extra MINI co-pilot, send me a PM. Can't decide which car to bring (MINI or TR6), and would like to bring them both.

I am importing my first mini (1979 Special) at the end of March. I would like to attend to see what kind of “mini people” are hiding in the Chicagoland area. I would consider joining CMMC.

i live not far from there. i have attended thier cruise nights many times before with and without the mini. well, since they allowed it a few years ago. now it's a classic only event. anyways i will be there for sure. where can i get more info on parking with the club?
