Volo Museum Drive 4/14

WRAPUP:

About 20 MINIs showed up for a relaxed drive around some fun twisty roads.  One road closure forced a bit of backtracking and wrong turn-taking.  The museum was huge, with lots of really neat cars and antiques to check out.

  1. Can you send me the route? I am not sure what time I will get out of my dentist appointment.

Count me in for the museum.

  2. Hmmm, I MAY go! It will be my first CMMC meet (even though i’m not a member…yet.)!

I was just at the auto museum about a month ago…they have a pretty neat set up, and they DO have the car from the Cat in the Hat! If that doesn’t make you want to go, I don’t know what will…

  3. I’m like Mare. I’m not yet a member and this would be my first event and it sounds really fun! I’m swamped with audit work (ugh) but I’m really trying to go. I’ll be the 06 MCS HB w/B. Hope to see you there!

  5. For those interested… I’m picking up a friend and will be stopping at the Culvers for a bite just south of the meeting point (on 83). should be arriving by 11:30???

    See ya!

  6. Hey Steve, great drive, not an easy area to find good roads on a Sat afternoon, but you did. We had a blast and yep the back of the pack is more fun. Even more so with Marco.

  7. Just a note to say thanks to everyone for the warm reception on my first outing! It was a really fun MINI day!

You have found the secret spot.. The back is where you need to drive the fastest to keep up.
