WRAPUP: A beautiful day brought out about a dozen people or the Seminar. We learned that diferent types of scratches required different techniques, and to use the technique that causes the least amount of wear on the clear coat to get the job done. We are able to practice using claybar and hand polishes, and also use an orbital polisher to take deeper scratches out of a practice hood. Afterwards we were treated to burgers and brats and we were even given a goody bag with some sample products.

Lots of people have questions about how to best keep your MINI looking like new, and we are going to have the answers..
Jim Lafeber, from Simon’s Shine Shop and Dr. Beasley’s detailing products has offered to present a detailing clinic for our club. You will learn how to safely and correctly polish your car, and have all your cleaning and detailing questions answered. There will even be some hands on time with a polishing machine on a practice hood!!
Because Jim’s shop is a very busy place on weekends, former CMMC member Greg Kaufman has stepped up and offered the use of his Smartbox warehouse location to host the seminar, and we will even have a bit of grilling afterwards!!

WHAT: Detailing Seminar where you will learn a bit about the care and cleaning of your MINI, and be able to have your detailing questions answered. We’ll also have a hangout/cookout time afterwards to visit with MINI friends.
