 This year marks our 5th trip out to Starved Rock.  This has always been a great fall drive to a fun destination.   Bill Jacobs MINI has offered to open up on a Sunday, and let us start from there.

Milwaukee Club Foliage Drive & Poker Run

Baseball Meetup (09/28)

WRAPUP:  Over 100 Milwaukee and Chicago club members met for a fantastic baseball event!!  20-somthing MINIs met early in the morning at Knauz MINI for some coffee, donuts, bagels and hanging out time.  We then headed up the expressway to meet up with the MilwaukeeMINIs.  We all took a short drive, and got into Miller Stadium parking area more or less together for a really great catered cookout or grilling on our own.  After that we headed in to the park to watch the game.  One club member snagged a foul ball, and one caught a flying cell phone from the balcony above us.  Final score, the MilwaukeeMINIs and Chicago MINI Motoring Club won (as did the Brewers).

Huge thanks to Theresa for all the planning, as well as purchasing the tickets way back in March so we could have this event, and Knauz MINI for opening up on a Sunday and bringing in the food!!

Track Day invite (09/15)

Bill Nuccio Jr from Fox Valley Motorcars and Lamborghini Chicago has extended an invitation to our club to participate in their annual  track day at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet on Monday September 15th.

Besides  sharing the track with some really cool and exotic cars, he has offered our club a 10% discount.

Vintagefest Road Rally

Bill Jacobs MINI is holding a Vintagefest Road Rally event on Sunday August 31st.   Dustin Krause (Motoring Manager) has graciously extended an invitation to our club to participate.  Space is limited for the breakfast, but everyone can come along for the drive afterwards.

MINI Buddy System

Drive-in Drive 08/16

WRAPUP:  Beautiful weather brought out about a dozen cars out for a scenic and fun drive around the Kane County area.  We had a blast looping the industrial park traffic circles as well as some nice tree lined twisty and hilly bits.  We met a few more MINI friends at dinner.  Everyone who attended the Drive-In movie had a great time  ;)

Big thanks to Paul for the route planning.  It was unfortunate that work plans got in the way of his chance to enjoy the ride.

Come on out and join us for a drive, dinner and a drive-in movie on August 16th. Enjoy a movie outdoors under the stars at the Cascade Drive-in, one of the few remaining drive-in theaters in the area.

CowaLUNGa bike tour

One of our CMMC Club members, Jonathan E. will be participating in the CowaLUNGa 190 mile bike tour on August 2nd-4th to help raise money to help the Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago (RHAMC) .

Jonathan has offered some raffle prizes to our club members who choose to donate to help his cause.
