Time to shine up your MINI and change out those winter tires.
Saturday April 17th will be our 8th annual Spring Drive!! We will again be joining up with the MilwaukeeMINIs plus the Minis In Northern Illinois (M.I.N.I.) Clubs for a fun day cruising around some Southern Wisconsin area back roads..
Chicagoland people will meet up in the Libertyville area and we will meet up with the Milwaukee Club at the Jelly Belly factory. After a break there, we will take back roads to our final destination of a late lunch in the Lake Geneva area.
Wrapup: Twenty some MINIs braved the early morning and cold weather to caravan down Sheridan Road and Lake Shore drive to the Auto Show. 40 club members were able to gain early admission to the show to get an up close and personal time to check out the MINI exhibit before the crowds. Huge thanks again to MINIUSA for all the work to secure this special deal for our club, and to Knauz MINI for helping us out with the tickets!!!
The Milwaukee MINIS and Chicago MINI Motoring Club are planning a Brewers vs. Cubs game outing. It will be a night game on Saturday, September 11th. There are only 75 tickets, between the two clubs and they will sell out fast!! To get your tickets, send in your Order Form [Click Here] and payment ASAP. Theresa from the Milwaukee MINIs purchased the tickets on her personal credit card, and had to pay upfront. If you don’t buy your tickets by April 1st, and if there are any tickets ramaining, the price will go up. So buy your tickets, and buy them now!
fellow MINI owner Debbie Lind from Diver Acquisition and Retention, LLC has passed along information about a discount for MINI owners to attend the Our World Underwater show held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL on February 19th -21st.
There will also be a chance to win a MINI Cooper, and other fabulous prizes..
Our Annual indoor kart racing event returns in 2010 with a new venue, new racing format, and new prices!!
WRAPUP: 36 people showed up ready to do battle at Melrose Park Indoor Grand Prix. After an orientation we headed out to the track, and broke into 3 groups doing 4 races each on the large track. Many people hung out afterwards for pizza, conversation and bench racing.
Club Fast Guy awards go to Adam for turning in a blistering 32.67 lap, and Matt was a close second at 32.78

WRAPUP: Great friends, great food, presents and a great way to wrap up the year. We had a big crowd of old and new MINI friends, and lined up the block with MINIs. Huge thanks to Taylor for again hosting such a fantastic party, and thanks to everyone in the Chicago MINI Motoring Club for making our club such a nice and fun place to be!!
