Come on out for a fun drive exploring some roads along the Kankakee River with MINI Cooper friends
WRAPUP:
What a perfect day for a scenic drive exploring the Kankakee river. The morning storms blew thru before the event started leaving perfect spring weather for a drive. We had a total of about 25 MINIs exploring some fun roads and stopping at a couple nice parks, ending at a classic Route 66 drive-in.
Huge thanks to Phil and Pam, Joe and Georgia, Scott and Sherri for a ton of route preparation and planning (and leading/trailing the drive), and to Mark for the Rallista route planning!

WHERE: Start is at Shell/Circle K Gas Station at 1400 E Steger Rd., Crete, Illinois
End Destination is Route 66 Polk-a-Dot Drive In, 222 N. Front St. Braidwood, IL
