WRAPUP: Super Superdawg Saturday!!

We had about 30 MINIs participating in a fun drive thru the Cul De Sacs of Vernon Hills ending at Superdawg. The rain held out until about 1/2 way thru the drive and then cleared after we arrived.

We had a few first-timers, and lots of old friends. The long distance award goes to Phyllis and Lee coming in from Tennessee.

We will meet up beforehand for a fun little neighborhood cul de sac drive so we can all arrive en-mass.

WRAPUP: MINIs on the Mack is a wrap.. The final count was 1002 MINIs. The format was a little different and everything went a bit more smoothly.

WRAPUP:

The afternoon started wet but everything dried out before we departed. We had 9 MINIs out for the drive, which is a nice size to keep everyone together. There were a couple first timers and the rest have been on prior drives. A fun cruise thru North Aurora and Sugar Grove back roads and a stop for some yummy Ice Cream.

Wrapup: Beautiful weather made for a great event.. We had 22 MINIs in attendance including many long-timers and a few first-timers from as far north as Milwaukee, South-west from Morris, and Mr. RCH drove in from Philadelphia PA.

We took a nice wandering drive up Sheridan Road for an ending with a late lunch at Mia’s Diner in North Chicago.

A large pothole on Edens injured a couple cars on the way to the event, but MINI of Glencoe North Shore was able to get Tom’s tire replaced in time for him to meet us at the ending location.

Huge thanks to MINI of Glencoe for hosting the starting location and Mia’s Pancake house for our lunch stop.
