Enjoy a fall drive with MINI friends on some fun roads, ending with a bring-your-own picnic lunch at the Volo Bog!!

WRAPUP: A beautiful but chilly day brought out 35 MINIs for a fun drive in the northern suburbs.. Lots of first timers as well as manu MINI Club seasoned veterans. Patrick MINI hosted our starting location and went above and beyond by supplying some pre-drive snacks as well as gift baskets for our picnic and other goodies as well. We had a fun drive except when the leader missed a turn and many MINIs took a bit of a detour. We all regrouped at Volo Bog for a picnic lunch, hangout and chance to explore the park.

WRAPUP: A really fun Superdawg drive!! We had over 30 cars looping thru a bunch of cul-de-sacs and joined up with another 8 or 10 at Superdawg. A bunch of new club members participated in their first drive as well as a lot of old friends.. Thanks everyone for the evening hangout!

We will meet up beforehand for a fun little neighborhood cul de sac drive so we can all arrive en-mass.

WRAPUP: A fun morning hangout with several new (and potential) members and a bunch of old-timers.
We got to see some services offered by Endless Possibilities and by Without a Trace Dent removal, including window tint, remote starters, dent removal, wraps for cars or door handles and more.

Cesar from Endless Possibilities Auto has invited the Chicago MINI Motoring Club to attend a Cars & Coffee morning hangout at his shop in Aurora..

A fun first drive of the season. We had a huge turnout of close to 40 cars between the Chicago MINI Motoring Club and Milwaukee MINIs.. Many first-timers and plenty of old MINI friends. The day started out really hot, but temps cooled down a bit after a passing storm.

We had a few routing issues due to construction road closures, but we made the best of things and eventually got to our destination.

We enjoyed some good food and custard at Hefner’s Frozen Custard, who did an outstanding job of dealing with our large crowd dropping in on them.

Huge thanks to Northshore Motorsports for hosting our starting location and to Hefner’s Frozen Custard for accommodating our large crowd on short notice!!

WRAPUP: We had a great turnout of 15 or so MINIs to stop by and visit and have a chance to say so long to Mr. RCH. The weather was very hot, but the predicted rains held off. It was really nice to see so many MINI friends after being away for so long!!

Longtime club member Mr. RCH will be leaving Chicagoland and moving back to the East coast. We will have a casual drop-in get-together to have a chance to say goodby before he leaves.
