Car Club Challenge (09/28)

Chicago Indoor Racing will be hosting another Car Club Challenge race on Sunday September 28th (unfortunately the same day as our Brewers/Cubs Baseball game).

Here are the details we have at the moment:

On Sunday, September 28, Chicago Indoor Racing (CIR) is hosting its annual Car Club Challenge pitching teams of 3-6 drivers from your club to compete against teams from other local motorsport clubs in a 300 Lap Team Endurance Race at our Buffalo Grove facility.

Racing begins with a 20 minute Timed Qualifying Session giving your team the opportunity to warm up as well as qualify for the team’s starting position on the grid followed by 300 Laps of racing. During the race, teams are required to make 5 driver changes and at least one fuel stop!

Trophies and bragging rights will be awarded to the top finishers. Only one CIR “regular” per team - No ringers please! Bring fellow members of your club along to cheer on your team.

Date: Sunday, September 28
Arrival: 4pm (arrival & check-in)
Race: 5pm (should be complete around 8pm)
Cost: $300 per team (all drivers must be over 18 w/a valid driver’s license)
Entry Form:  Here

Pre-registration is required.  To participate, just follow the Entry Form link, print and fax the entry form to (847) 941-9401 upon completion.

Please post up if you are interested, and if we have enough people for a team then we will register.  This event will fill up so post quickly!!

I’d love to do this again, but will be driving back that day from Watkins Glen where BMWCCA Oktoberfest is being held this year.
