Wisconsin Drive Hotel Info October 3/4

Here is some hotel info for our Wisconsin overnight drive to the New Glarus area on October 3rd and 4th.

We have some rooms reserved below for a very short term.  Also, feel free to look into other area alternatives if you are interested in something else.  

We are tentatively planning on meeting at Chalet Landhaus for the buffet breakfast on Sunday morning for those that would like.

 Important: both hotels – the blocks are reserved with ‘Chicago MINI Motoring Club’.   Please note the hold till dates!  These rooms are available for anyone participating on the drive.

Buffet breakfast is included with these rooms. If you’re not a hotel guest, breakfast is available to the public at $11.50 per person.

Holding till 9/7! 3x non smoking (1 king) $89.50 2x non smoking (2 queens) $79.50

In addition to our block, they have 6x smoking rooms available, plus 4x or so non smoking kings.

    Linda and I will be staying at Chalet Landhaus..

    Anyone interested in going for a short (and not too fast) run on Saturday and/or Sunday let us know.

    Lena & I will also be @ Chalet Landhaus. It makes it easier to fall out of bed and into the restaurant. They are filling fast. DON’T wait. They say Oct. fall colors makes it their busiest month…

    Question:

    Meeting at the rest stop is on the east bound side of 90. Do you pass by it heading west and swing around east bound at the 75/51 exit?

    We are meeting at the rest stop heading northwest just past the Wisconsin border, not the one heading into Illinois.

    Yup, if coming from the north, exit at 75/51 (Gardner St.) and get back on 90 going north.

    Carolyn and I just booked at the Chalet Landhaus… We may have booked the last room in the block. Hopefully there’s still some left…

    The Chalet Landhaus has 6 rooms remaining as of 9/6. Lot’s of people making reservations because of the fall colors!
