Small Wonders Micro Car Museum (10/01)

 

WRAPUP:  What an incredible event!!  We had a little bit of trouble with our original planned starting location, but after a couple moves we secured a hassle free meetup spot.  We took a short scenic drive on some twisty roads and were then given the ful VIP treatment at the museum.  We were treated to donuts and soft drinks, and a full and detailed tour of the workshop and museum areas, with a history of most of the cars in the collection.  Words cannot do justice to describe the interesting cars, so take a look through the pictures below..

If you are a big fan of small, you won’t want to miss the Small Wonders Microcar Museum. This is a large collection of some of the smallest cars around.We will start with a short 1/2 hour drive starting in Wauconda, and ending in Crystal Lake.

Availability is limited so add a comment letting us know you will attend

 

WHAT: A very cool private museum of Microcars and memorabilia

WHERE: Start at the Dunkin Dounuts 469 West Liberty Street (Rt 176) in Wauconda. Note: Parking is limited in the front, but there is additional space in the back. We will drive to Crystal Lake and arrive as a group. We will provide the private destination details in an e-mail a few days prior to the event.

WHEN: Saturday October 1st, departure is 10:30

WHO: CMMC Members or others interested in the club. Other clubs may participate if there is space available after our club members respond. Please rsvp your desire to come as well as the club you belong to. Space is limited so please be sure to RSVP.

WHY: A fun short group drive, hanging out with MINI friends, and a chance to see a bunch of very interesting vehicles
