MINI on the MACK 8/1

848 1/2 MINIs showed up for the  first attempt to set a world record parade of MINIs in 2013, and a great time was had by all..

The target for 2015 is a world record beating crowd of over 1450 MINIs.

Some Chicagoland people are meeting at Bill Jacobs MINI and departing at 7am to then meet up with the Northwest Indiana MINIAcs at 9am..

 

The Northwest Indiana MINIAcs are meeting for a Friday morning caravan from the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center at 9am

We’d like to extend an invitation to an exclusive upcoming event – MOGR Rally To Mackinaw. Join the MOGR staff in our quest to Mackinaw for MINIs On The Mack! It’ll be a great chance to chat with other MINI fans and Owners, while enjoying the ride to Mackinaw, and of course, motoring. The plan is to leave at 1 p.m. sharp, so don’t be late! We hope to see you there!

  1. We’re going.. 4 people + luggage.. 1 MINI

    We will stay over somewhere near Grand Rapids, and caravan from there at 1pm (eastern time).. Heading back down the Wisconsin side on the way home

      I am planning on going as well. Thursday night I am staying in Ludington. I am doing the Circle Tour, and sticking to Hwy-31 on the way up. I’ll be in Escanaba Sunday night going Hwy-2. If any of that overlaps with your plans, let me know.

      • Hey Tom.. We still dont have our Thursday night set, but probably will be closer to Grand Rapids, and then caravan with the bunch.
        Last time on the way home we got a bit farther.. closer to Green Bay, but we will have to see for this time.

  7. Has anyone noticed the discrepancy in meet up times? NWIMINIACS site says 8:00 am cst at Indiana Dunes.
    And remember, we lose an hour on the way up. Mackinaw is on eastern time.
    Don’t want anyone to be late we need everyone,

    • I believe it should be Meeting at the Dunes at 9 and departing 9:30 sharp (central time) to make it in time to leave grand rapids at 1pm eastern.

  8. I’m leaving tomorrow morning and driving north through Wisconsin this time. Looking forward to seeing everyone! Staying at the K Royale in St. Ignace.
