Autobahn Car Show 05/14

WRAPUP: A warm mostly sunny day brought out 5 MINIs to the car show out of about 30 cars. Fun time hanging out with MINI friends and checking out cool cars.
We did not get a chance to drive lunchtime laps, but a few of us did get some passenger laps thanks to Jim M.

The Windy City BMW club has invited the Chicago MINI Motoring Club to share in their Car Show held at Autobahn race track.

This is in conjunction with their Performance Driving Event held on the same day.

4/23 Indiana Dunes Drive

We will be joining up with the Northwest Indiana MINIacs for a meetup/hangout at the visitors center of the Indiana Dunes and then a cruise for ice cream in New Buffalo MI.

WRAPUP: A beautiful Saturday brought out a half dozen MINIs to meet and join up with a bunch of Indiana MINIacs at the Dunes Visitors center. Goodie bags were provided by the Dunes!! After a hangout time, a dozen MINIs took a scenic drive to New Buffalo for Ice Cream. A good time was had by all.

Spring Cheese Castle Drive 03/20

Wrapup: Beautiful weather brought out over 30 MINIs for a fun morning drive.. We had a bunch of new people as well as many long time club members who haven’t driven with us in quite some time.
We also had a good split between Wisconsin Club members and Illinois members. After a fun twisty drive (and only getting lost a little bit) we all wound up at the Cheese Castle in Kenosha for some eats and hanging out.

March 20th is the first official day of spring, and what better way to celebrate than to take a drive in Northern Illinois/Southern Wisconsin with a bunch of MINI friends, and Cheese!!
