Gimmick Rally – July 22nd

WRAPUP: About 20 cars attended this rally on a beautiful Sunday morning. We were given route sheets, and needed to solve clues for points and to determine many route directions. Participants lined up, and left at 2 minute intervalls.

After a couple hours of touring some fantastic back roads, getting lost, backtracking, chatting with an old lady selling a couch (but it won’t fit in my car.. What, you live in your car?), we gathered in Delafield for a fine meal and scoring the results.

Congratulations to Tom and Caren for winning the first and second place prizes, and thanks to the organizers for putting on such a fun event.

We will be teaming up with the Milwaukee MINIs to participate in a Gimmick Rally filled with lots of clues and corners.

WHEN: Sunday July 22nd at 9am, rain or shine

WHERE: Start is in the Kohls parking lot just south of I94 in Johnsons Creek Wisconsin

WHO: All MINIs and Minis!!

WHY: A chance to meet other MINI (and Mini) folks, drive some fun roads, and have a good time.

WHAT: Solving clues will help you find the route. A navigator/Co-pilot will be usefull.

We will be finishing at the Delafield Brewhouse in Delafield, Wisconsin. There will be a Sandwich Buffet (Ham, Turkey, Salami, all the fixings, fruit salad, coleslaw and beverage) for $13 for those interested.
