Milwaukee Club Foliage Drive & Poker Run

Theresa and Wade from the MilwaukeeMINIs are doing a Fall Foliage Drive and Poker Run on Sunday October 18th through the Kettle Moraine and Holy Hill area.

Information is listed below.  If you are interested in attending,  it is required that you RSVP for this event ahead of time, which you can do by adding a comment to this post.

Just a quick note to all of my fellow MINI owners to let you know that if you plan to motor in Wade’s Super-Fantastic Fall Foliage Drive & Poker Run on Sunday, October 19th, you need to RSVP in advance. (We are having some technology challenges, otherwise we would note that on the website!)  We’ve also changed the final destination/lunch to your choice of the Wells Street Tavern or The Loaf & Jug in Delafield, WI – they are both next to each other with picnic tables outside for all.  Please see below…

Fall Foliage Drive & Poker Run

When: Sunday, October 19, 2008 Meet at 8:30, 9 am – 1 pm drive, Lunch at 1 pm.
Location: Meet at Cooper Park [Map link] near Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, WI at 87th & Chambers, then drive through the scenic Kettle Moraine area to enjoy the drive and the colors.

We are bringing back the Fall Foliage Drive & (Non-Alcoholic) Poker Run by popular request with a revised route, and virtually all right-hand turns! We will have a pre-drive meeting at Cooper Park, and then a 65-mile adventure including rustic roads in the Holy Hill area and the Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive in the Lake Country area will follow. Afterwards, we will eat lunch in Delafield, WI at your choice of Wells Street Tavern or The Loaf & Jug. The drive includes a number of stops along the way where each driver collects a playing card. The driver with the best poker hand at the end of the drive wins!
