Drivers Education and Track Day at Blackhawk Farms Raceway

Kelly from the Midwest Austin-Healey Club has invited CMMC members to participate in a Drivers Education and Track day on Friday July 1st

Hello all,

My name is Kelly Evenson, and I am the driving events director of the Midwest Austin-Healey Club. We would like to formally invite your club members to participate in our Driver’s Education and Track Day at Blackhawk Farms Raceway in South Beloit on 1 July. The Midwest Austin-Healey Club is co-hosting this event with the Chicago Alfa Romeo Owners Club (CAROC).

For whom is this event intended?
This is a day for all levels of driver skill; you can to choose a “group” based on your level of experience. Full-day and half-day sessions are available. In addition, mid-day Touring sessions of about 45 minutes allow new participants and passengers to enjoy the track at moderate speeds. There will be 3 run Groups (excluding Touring):

• A – Competition
• B – Intermediate
• C – Novice

What do I need to bring?
Your vintage sports car or any make/model/year. As long as the vehicle passes the Tech Inspection, you will be allowed to run. Please note roll bars are required on all open top cars participating in Group A (Competition).
