Our good friends at MINIUSA were able to arrange for a limited number of passes to attend the Chicago Auto Show media preview day on Friday February 9th.
A great opportunity to experience one of the countries largest shows before it opens to the general public.
WRAPUP: A very snowy day kept the sparse crowds even quieter. All the better opportunity to get more 1 on 1 times with the cars and the rides. Huge thanks to MINIUSA for making these tickets available to our club!
January is Kart Racing season for the Chicago MINI Motoring Club. To satisfy our winter time need for speed, we will again be racing at K1 Speed in Buffalo Grove with their electric karts in a 3 race Grand Prix series.
WRAPUP: We had 22 people participating and a number more spectating. We were divided into 3 groups and the racing was fast and furious. First place overall was Steve R, Closely followed by Kevin R, and Brian H. Kevin R. pulled fast time of the day with a 20.105.

Putting out feelers to see if there are any people interested in displaying your MINI at an indoor Auto Show in Rosemont on September 8th and 9th, and being a Chicago MINI Motoring Club ambassador during the show..
Daniel from RCG Auto Logistics has offered CMMC club members a 10% discount on vehicle shipping all across the US.
Mention that you are a Chicago MINI Motoring Club member when you are requesting a quote for a discount to be considered.
Thanks to RCG Auto Logistics for offering this discount to our club!!
Our annual Club holiday party will be on Saturday December 9th, at a brand new venue in Morton Grove.
This is a great chance to kick back and visit with MINI friends in a nice casual setting.
WRAPUP: We had a good sized crowd of about 25 people. Tasty Pequods Pizza, drinks and deserts. We were able to raffle off a number of items donated from our friends at MINIUSA, and even were treated to a holiday song by Dave & Suzanne “The Chirpies”. Thanks to all who came out, and thanks for the wrapup of another great CMMC year of activities!!
