Over 30 cars showed up on a beautiful spring evening to take a short cruise and hang out. The cars drew quite a bit of attention both along the route and at SuperDawg. We had club members attending from as far away as Springfield, Milwaukee and Elgin/St. Charles area. Our friends from Knauz MINI stopped by and dropped off some MINI SMints! It was very cool to have almost the entire SuperDawg parking lot filled with MINIs, Classic Minis, plus even a Morris Minor.
Huge thanks to SuperDawg for letting us take over their place for the evening, and for being so accommodating to us in terms of parking and hanging out!!

We had so much fun at last years SuperDawg event, we are doing a repeat!!
Join us for a very short casual cruise to visit one of Chicagolands oldest and most famous hot dog stands, Superdawg!!
Where: Meet at the north end of the Bunker Hill Forest Preserves near Touhy and Gross Point (Harts) road in Niles [Map Link]

When: Friday May 8th, 7pm is the drivers meeting and then departure.
Why: For a fun time hanging out with MINI friends, and good eats.
What to bring: A camera, optional FRS radio tuned to Channel 1 subchannel 1 to help with navigation, your favorite MINI clothes, your appetite, and a smile. Dress for hanging around outside.

NOTE: The Superdawg parking area is very small, so we will hang out across the street at the Walgreens parking lot when we are done, or if there is not enough space for everyone to fit at once.

Gee, I hope this goes through. I am the one with the Morris Minor that was driving past and saw all of you at Superdawg. I wanted to thank you all for making me feel welcome! It was great talking to everyone, it felt good to be around entusiasts again. It has been many years since I owned a British car and I truly miss the cameraderie.
