One bit of information we do not collect is what colors everyones cars are.
I thought this would be a good place for anyone who is interested to list what color their MINI is, and to see what the popular and rare member colors are

Wrap-up:10 MINI's met up for the drive Downtown. The weather was perfect, and the bunch of cars caused quite a bit of attention from the downtown crowd. It was incredible to hear the whine of MCS superchargers and the growl of aftermarket exhausts while blasting around Lower Wacker Drive!! Hanging around MINI-lennium Park was fun and a nice dinner followed.
Huge thanks to Maxwell for planning the downtown drive and sculpture tour, and arranging for prime lakefront parking!!!
You can check out Pete Krehbiel & Gabe's pics of the event here.
Update 10/22/2004: A slight change in Eats to Park Grill located off of MINI-lennium Park since it is looking to be a nice day!!
Come on out and join us on a very casual drive down Lakeshore Drive and around downtown on Sunday October 24th.
We will meet at the parking area at east of the Bryn Mawr exit of Lake Shore Drive at 4:00 p.m.
From there, we will head to Downtown and take a short spin around the Loop (hopefully including Lower Wacker Drive). MINI parking will be provided at 400 E. Monroe Street (east of Lake Shore Drive) thanks to club member Maxwell.
After that, a group hangout at Bennigan's
Please post here if you are planning on attending
Fantastic weather, great twisty roads, 30+ MINIs cruising in formation.. what could be better!!
A huge thanks to Patrick MINI and Euroquipe for opening up on a Sunday, and providing coffee, Krispy Kremes, bagels, drinks, etc. Thanks also to Pat and Jen for all the hard work planning the route, and having the Morris police block traffic for us while leaving the lunch stop.
Check out the additional links to photo's in the Club Forum
Due to cooler weather, the The Green at Grant Park has closed early this season.
We are working on alternate plans for the same day and approximate time, still in the downtown area, and should have details up very soon.
10/04/2004 Update: If you are interested in hanging out for diner at Captains Cove, in nearby Ottawa please respond below so we can plan for reservations
Here are the details you have been waiting for about the Starved Rock Fall drive. Please add to the comments if you are planning on atending, so we can get a good headcount
What: A group MINI drive to Starved Rock State Park.
When: Sunday October 17th
Where: Starting at Patrick MINI, 696 Golf Road in Shaumburg, ending in Starved Rock. This will be a most of the day event
The Plan:We will meet at about 8:30, and hit the road at about 9:00. From there we will head to Euroquipe in St. Charles. They are a shop that works on BMW’s, Porsche’s and MINI’s. They have invited our club to stop by, check out the shop and have a light snack on our way. We should arrive around 9:45, and probably hit the road again 10:30-ish. From there, we will head to Minooka (about an hour drive) where we will start a nice little route to Utica. We will probably find a place for lunch near Morris, and then head into Starved Rock State Park. No real plans after that.. Everyone is free to explore the area and hang out as long as they please.
What to bring: A full tank of gas, FRS Radio (if you have one), comfortable clothes for the day (perhaps sunscreen, bug spray, etc), and a smile!
Info from the original post is here
If anyone has photos of the Starved Rock event that they would care to share, please forward them on to myself, or any of the club officers. We will try to put a few pics up afterwards.
UPDATE: There are only 3 spots left as of October 3rd! Reserve now if you are interested
