WRAPUP: A cold and soggy day still brought out over 20 MINIs for the drive. Several people headed down from the Milwaukee area, and we had a number of first timers in addition to our veteran motorers. Knauz MINI opened up their showroom for us on a Sunday and brought some tasty morning treats.

Springtime is when we team up with the Milwaukee MINIs and head up over the border into Wisconsin for a fun drive.
We are again joining up with the Northwest Indiana MINIacs for an early spring drive out to the Indiana Dunes Area!!
WRAPUP:
Despite a cold are rainy start in Chicagoland, the weather warmed up and dried out by the time we got out to the Indiana Dunes Visitors center.. We were joined by a large group of MINIs from Indiana and Michigan, and the Peace Love Grub food truck served up plenty of big food.
Huge thanks to MINI of Chicago for hosting the start location, the Indiana Dunes visitors Center, the Peace Love Grub Food truck and Matt from the Northwest Indiana MINIacs for the event planning!!

Our good friends at MINIUSA were able to arrange for a limited number of passes to attend the Chicago Auto Show media preview day on Friday .
A great opportunity to experience one of the countries largest shows before it opens to the general public.

January is Kart Racing season for the Chicago MINI Motoring Club. To satisfy our winter time need for speed, we will again be racing at K1 Speed in Buffalo Grove with their electric karts in a 3 race Grand Prix series.
WRAPUP: Thrills, chills, and spills.. We had about 25 people participating in some mid-winter karting action. A warmup race, a qualifying race, and then a final event. A couple of the finals had a bit of “rubbing”, but a fun time was had by all. Congrats to the 3 final race winners.. Matt K. , and Jim M. and a big thanks to Kathy and Scott S. for donating tickets to Zanies Comedy Club as an extra prize for the leaders!
