Cheese Castle Drive 11/23

Not an official club event, but a few people will be taking a short cruise to visit the Mars Cheese Castle in Kenosha.

WRAPUP: 9 MINIs came out for a warm but wet morning drive. One flat tire mishap was quickly repaired and we made our way to the Cheese Castle for some shopping and eating.

Starved Rock 11/02

WRAPUP: It was a beautiful but chilly day. Over 50 MINIs attended our last driving event of the season. Bill Jacobs MINI graciously opened up on a Sunday and even brought us a tasty breakfast and some nice give-aways. After a fun drive thru some nice twisty roads we ended the day at MJ’s Pub & Grill.. some people went on to visit Starved Rock state park. Thanks again to the staff at Bill Jacobs, and MJ’s Pub, plus Chris B. for helping with arrangements and morning check-in, and Lee E. with route planning assistance!!

Coding event October 25th

Ram from http://www.bmwminicoding.com/ will be back in town to program options to change some settings in our Gen1, Gen2, or Gen 3 MINI.

Popular options include:

Turn off bulb checks (for those that want to use LED lights without resistors)
Removal of navigation disclaimer
Side mirrors auto folding on lock and unlock (BMW only)
Auto closing of sunroof when rain is detected
Enabling rear fogs
Sexy double blink emergency flashers

Wrapup: We had a good bunch of people for a day of hanging out and getting options coded Huge thanks to Ram for driving in from Madison to make this event happen!!
