WRAPUP: Depsite the chilly weather and a dusting of snow, about 16 MINIs participated in an early morning cruise down pothole covered Sheridan Road and Lake Shore Drive. The Auto Show was nice, and it was a bit less crowded than usual. Huge thanks to Knauz MINI for helping us out with tickets!!

Where are you going this year?
The Chicago MINI Motoring Club would would like to bestow the honorary
position of Club Road Warrior upon Conrad Alexander in recognition of all
the behind the scenes work that he has done over the years to help out our
club.
Conrad has provided a tremendous amount of planning and logistics
assistance on a number of our longer drives including many of the Starved
Rock drives, both MINI Takes the States events, and the Kings Island
event. Conrad has also worked as a liason with the MINI dealerships to
help make arrangements for event starts.
Fun fact: Conrad was the very first club member to join using our PO box
way back in 2003!
Conrad can be reached via e-mail to RoadWarrior@chicagominiclub.com

WRAPUP: Thrills, chills and speed!! Everyone had a fabulous time at this years event. The racing was close and mostly clean, and what wasn’t clean makes for fun bench racing stories. The format was a little different, with two person teams and 45 minutes of time, but it actually allowed for a bit of additional racing time, and it is always fun racing on the full size combined track.
The overall Race winners Adam and Scott were awarded gift cards courtesy of Ridemakerz
If you have any photos or video of the event, please send the link (not the actual pictures) to steve@chicagominiclub.com and I will link them here.
