Here are the details…
WRAPUP: A chilly morning greeted 15 MINIs for a drive down to the show.. We met up with others who drove on their own, and were granted VIP early access to the show for almost 50 of us. We were able to get up close and personal with the new JCW GP and Paceman and check out all the goodies at the MINI exhibit.. Then we were off to check out the rest of the cars at the Auto Show. Huge thanks again to MINIUSA and to Knauz MINI for helping with the arrangements for our club and for the event tickets!!

Our good friends at MINIMania have offered members of the Chicago MINI Motoring Club a great discount..
WRAPUP: We had 21 racers attemding this year, down a few due to weather… Several new faces, and many regulars. Lots of close racing action on the challenging new track layout. I’m sure everyone was good and tired after 4 heats of racing. Afterwards we hung out and enjoyed a giant pizza + drinks.. Thanks to our friends at Melrose Park Indoor Grand Prix for taking good care of our club!
Fast lady of the day went to Anne C. at 34.252
Fast guy was Martin M. at 32.134, winner of the Speed Racer helmet

January is indoor kart racing time at the Chicago MINI Motoring Club. Come on out for some high speed racing action on a fun track!!

Founded in 2009 this is a friendly MINI forum owned by MINI enthusiasts.. It is a great place to socialize and learn and share MINI information. Log in and check it out!!
A huge thanks to Nathan for helping our club out with the web hosting.
Our anual Club holiday party will be on Sunday December 9th, and will again be hosted at club member Taylor’s house in Deerfield.
This is a great chance to kick back and visit with MINI friends in a nice casual setting.
WRAPUP: We had a big crowd this year.. Lots of good food, lots of good company, and really great raffle give-a-ways. A huge thanks to Taylor for hosting our party, MINIUSA for helping our club out with some fantastic gifts, and also a big thanks to Francis and Paul for helping out!!
